  2. Really enjoyed this blog mate. It certainly makes you think a little bit. I was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness for the first 16 years of my life, having both God and religion drilled into me from an early age. I never blamed my parents for the strict regime I was forced to live under, as I received nothing but care and love from them both with them sure in the knowledge that the way they were raising me was always to my benefit. However, although it was a hard period in my life, I still don’t know that if the time arose, where no other options were available, I might just sneek a tiny ‘god help me’in there as a ‘just in case’ scenario.

    • That’s something I can understand, Rick. Would be pretty strange if you managed to shake it completely! So have you moved away from God and religion altogether, now? Atheist or agnostic?

      • To be truthful, I’m still unsure, which by definition would make me agnostic. As you said, having a deep seated upbringing in religion, it’s an ideal You keep in the back of your mind. I also see the side of religion that has caused so many problems worldwide and when I was a part of it, closer to home, I decided that it just wasn’t worth it.
